On arrival in Surama, you will receive a warm welcome from a staff member and have a refreshing snack. You will then discuss your itinerary to confirm any changes, then settle into your accommodation. Your guide will then take you for a village tour to visit the local school, medical centre and church along with some village houses before having lunch .This Tour is approximately 3 km.
After a 1 hour siesta you will then take a walk or transfer across the savannah and through the rain forest to the Burro Burro River.We will go on a boat down river depending on the level of the water.
Tonight enjoy an educational walk to observe wildlife and experience the mystique of the forest after dark. Tonight overnight in hammocks at the Carahaa Landing camp. (L, D)
Today your guides will paddle you on the Burro Burro River to observe wildlife and birdlife. Stop along the way to swim or take walks into the rainforest. In the late afternoon watch or join in as your guides construct a camp on the river bank. Enjoy dinner cooked over an open fire before spending the night in your hammock camp.. (B, L, D)
Today continue paddling and exploring the Burro Burro River before returning to Carahaa Landing Camp and then walk back to Surama. (B, L, D)
This morning you are free to relax or explore the area around the lodge. After Lunch depart Surama. (B) 4 Days / 3 Nights
